Massive protest against Delhi gang rape at India Gate

NEW DELHI: Thousands of people protesting against the torture and gang rape of a 23-year-old woman in a moving bus and demanding safety for women converged at India Gate and marched towards Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Saturday.
The rape victim is currently battling for her life in a hospital.
The protesters started arriving at the site since early morning, and were soon joined by former army chief Gen VK Singh.
They then began marching towards the high-security Rashtrapati Bhavan on Raisina Hill but were stopped by security personnel, who had put up barricades.
Police have arrested all the six accused in the case but public anger has been swelling against the incident.

GOVT & Politicians sitting in palaces & lavish buildings, they are sent by the people but they don't represent people but "Power & Money, Pumped by Criminals", so why to bother. Whether a girl killed, raped or whatsoever punishment they don't care, "this has become a general phenomena", this is happening every day in the capital & every corner of the India, this time people has wake up this is something new but this protest will survive for how many days, it's numbered. People will forget & case will be buried under "Khaaki, black coat or if gone beyond here, will be buried by the politicians". Under Indian system (political & judiciary) it's not possible to punish the criminals but punish the poor people even their is no crime, people are prisioned for many years without case & a single hearing & it's not one or two but in thousand & no one bother niether system nor public. A normal person even can't file a case, either it's siply denied or so expensive we don't dare to do so. But the good thing about this, all Delhi courts are on holidays for almost 10 days, so no case & no crime.

Only arresting doesn't solve the problem. Accused should not be feed for years on our (Tax Payers) hard earned money but they should be tried in a fast track court in a time bound trial & should be treated as risk to society & given life Imprisonment (Till death) & be kept outside their home state & no one should be allowed to meet them in the jail.
